Rebecca Hunt

Rebecca Hunt has lived in West Kent for nine years. She is married with one adopted daughter. Her husband is a solicitor who acts for housing associations.

Rebecca is a chartered civil engineer and solicitor. She currently works as a contracts advisor to an engineering company. Previously she worked as a flood risk management specialist for the Environment Agency in Kent. She has been on the committee of two adoption charities and has volunteered at a local special needs school.

Rebecca's political interests include trade and industry, education, sustainable transport, tackling global warming, affordable housing and health. She stood in a local council by-election in West Kent in 2006 and raised the Liberal Democrat share of the vote from 25% to 46%.
